What are the benefits of using a Reformer?
Using a reformer can help improve flexibility, strength, and overall body alignment. It provides low-impact resistance training that is gentle on the joints.
What do the colours mean on the spring system?
The Reformer beds have a total of 6 springs: 2 Red, 2 Yellow & 2 Green.

Red: Highest strength and most resistance.
Yellow: Moderate strength and resistance.
Green: Lowest strength and resistance.

Besides being able to determine the strength with the springs, you can also choose which track you place the springs on. There are 3 tracks, the bottom lane being the lightest position. The higher you go, the heavier it gets.

How do I clean and maintain my Reformer?
The reformer is designed for easy maintenance. We recommend wiping down the bed and its components with a damp cloth after each use to keep it clean and in optimal condition.
How much space do I need to allow around the reformer?
We recommend allocating a minimum space of 3m (L) x 1.5m (W) to use your reformer effectively during all exercises. The pulley/pole end of the Reformer can be flushed against a wall or piece of furniture, ensuring that the foot bar end of the Reformer has adequate space to adjust or insert the jumpboard.
What flooring is suitable for my Reformer?
Like with any piece of furniture in your home, we recommend extra protection for the flooring underneath the reformer. Something non-slip is always a great option for stability.
Is the reformer safe for injury rehabilitation?
Yes, Reformer Pilates is often recommended for injury rehabilitation because it offers a low-impact, controlled environment that supports recovery while strengthening muscles. However, we always recommend consulting with a healthcare professional before beginning any new exercise program, especially if you’re recovering from an injury.
